We collect only the information necessary to provide our services.
Account Information
First and last name, email address, encrypted password, phone number, date of birth, and your preferred language and currency (EUR, GBP, USD).
Payment Data
Credit/debit card details processed securely via Stripe. Your card information is tokenized — we never store your full card number on our servers.
Order & Transaction History
Details of your ticket purchases, order confirmations, delivery status, and any support requests or refund claims associated with your orders.
Automatically Collected Data
IP address and approximate geolocation (city, country) for currency defaults, browser type and device information, search queries, recently viewed events, favorites, and general platform usage statistics.

Infrastructure
All data is stored securely in our database with end-to-end encryption in transit (SSL/TLS), encryption at rest, and strict access control policies ensuring data isolation between users.
Authentication Security
We use secure authentication with PKCE flow for session management. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Session tokens are automatically refreshed and securely handled.
Payment Security
Card details are tokenized and processed directly by Stripe — we never store your full card number on our servers. All payment data is handled in compliance with PCI standards.
Access Controls
Only authorized personnel have access to sensitive data. All database access is governed by strict security policies. We regularly review and audit our access controls.

9. International Data Transfers
Your data may be processed and stored in data centers located in the United States and European Union through our service providers (Supabase, Stripe). For transfers outside the EEA, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and verify that our providers maintain appropriate technical and organisational safeguards in compliance with GDPR Chapter V.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through a prominent notice on our platform. Your continued use of Tickseats after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
